A visit to Bolfracks Garden by the River Tay near Abefeldy. There are four acres of well maintained formal gardens open to the public for a small fee dropped into an honesty box. We visited in April, early in the season but really great for admiring the blossoms and tulips. Other highlights include rhododendron, azaleas, roses and herbaceous perennials. Unusually the garden is north facing and sloping so it must be a real challenge to make it work as well as it does.
Open from 1st of April through to 31st October and well worth a visit.
